The Haliburton Hospital has reached its breaking ground point for its new addition of the Palliative Centre.
This Friday, there will be a big celebration starting at 11:00am.
Executive Director Dale Walker explains what the event is for.
Walker says so far $925,000 has been raised towards the project. She says the goal is $1,250,000.
Walker hopes to have the centre ready by the end of May.
