Environment Haliburton wants residents to be prepared for a climate change.
The committee is having a meeting next Tuesday, at the United Church in Haliburton to talk about an action plan.
Vice President Terry Moore says the community needs to get themselves ready.
Moore says the author of Planning for Climate Change in Muskoka, Peter Sale, will be the speaker at the meeting. He says Sale will be talking about what we can do to deal with the weather changes.
