Hydro One will be reconnecting over 1,400 customers for the rest of the winter that have had their power disconnected.
Hydro One Executive Vice President of Customer Care and Corporate Affairs Ferio Pugliese says residential customers, including those in Haliburton County, will be reconnected across Hydro One’s territory.
This comes without having to pay a reconnection fee.
Pugliese says load restrictors may be installed.
Hydro One already has a policy not to disconnect electricity during winter months.
Hydro One says it is reaching out to customers interested in being reconnected, although they will have to commit to a payment plan.
