There is a weather advisory in effect for Haliburton County.
Environment Canada says bands of snow off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay will affect the region tonight bringing five to ten centimetres of snow. Winds will gust 75 kilometres. Officials say whiteout conditions are expected which will make driving dangerous.
