Last year, the YWCA had to close its women’s shelter in Haliburton County for five months because they didn’t have enough money. Director of Communications Jennifer Cureton says they don’t want to have to do that again. //www.myhaliburtonnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/YWCAV3.mp3 Cureton says they don’t want children to have to leave schools, or for mothers to have to find another job because they have to move.
