Recent snowfall in Haliburton isn’t enough to make the snowmobile trails safe.
That’s according to the Haliburton Country Snowmobile Association, which says only one trail is open right now. B-103 is safe to ride, but only with limited access. Other trails are still considered dangerous as the ground and waterways aren’t frozen over yet. Sledders are also reminded to stay off of public roads, and avoid trespassing on farmer’s fields.
