Children’s aid workers in Haliburton are hoping changes are on the way for kids in protective care. Ontario is introducing a new Bill, which will raise the age of kids in protective care. Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society Executive Director Jennifer Wilson says if passed, it will go from 16-years-old to 18.
Wilson says this is a key change, but there are still a lot of unanswered questions.
