Burning leftover wrapping paper can be dangerous. That’s according to the Minden Hills Fire Department, who says it can cause a flash fire. That means it can burst into flames quickly, and burn intensely. The Fire Department also says to be careful with ashes. If you take them out of the fireplace, put them in a metal container with water and a lid.
