Snowmobilers are being asked to stay away from lakes and rivers.
This stems from a water safety warning in Haliburton County because the banks and shorelines are slippery and unstable. President of the Haliburton County Snowmobile Association Paul Gaudin says last week got too warm to do much work on the trails. Gaudin says they are grooming the trails this week to get ready for the season.
Right now only the B103 trail is open with limited access.
