The Crowe Valley Conservation Authority has issued a Watershed Conditions Statement urging everyone to take caution around watercourses.
The statement says no flooding is anticipated, but increase in flows could wear down ice and create open fast flowing water.
Parents are asked to remind children of the dangers of playing on or near ice covered watercourses.
