Highlands East council is recognizing volunteers for National Volunteer Week.
At Monday’s meeting, council agreed to post a message on each of their signs, showing their appreciation. “Nothing would happen in this municipality without them,” says councilor Steve Kauffeldt.
Councilors agreed they couldn’t express how much they appreciated all the work volunteers do.
