The search for a Minden Hills director of community services continues.
In yesterday’s committee of the whole meeting, councilors discussed the lack of application. Ideas were proposed to change the scope of the position description currently posted. Council agreed to gather more information from other municipalities to determine job responsibilities best suited for the position.
The discussion began when council was asked to vote whether or not to hire a recruiting company to take over the search.
Council agreed to defer that vote until the township’s CAO can present the research from other municipalities. Further discussion will take place at the next council meeting.
