Haliburton Highlands Health Services is losing a valuable member. Executive Director Dale Walker is retiring on June 1st , after being in the role for 18 years. Walker has helped raise $13 million dollars for local hospitals during that time, and says she wants the next person to also be passionate about the community.
Once she retires, Walker will be working at the Home Hardware in Haliburton, which she owns. The Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation is hoping to hire a new Executive Director by late spring.
