The Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre says fraudsters are going after those who have already been scammed by people claiming to be from the CRA. The scammers are emailing victims saying they will be able to get some of the money they lost back, if they pay a five per cent administration fee. Officials say these fraudsters have impersonated government officials and police agencies. The anti-fraud centre says don’t open an email or answer a phone call when you don’t recognize the person it’s coming from.
