OPP is lacing up its skates to raise awarness about The Push For Change campaign

The Haliburton Highlands OPP is facing off against local students. The police are playing the students in four hockey games this month, to help raise awareness and donations to end youth homelessness. The money raised will go to The Push for Change, where a man named Joe Roberts is pushing a shopping cart nine-thousand kilometres across Canada to help get kids off of the streets. The first game is on the 10th, at the Keith Tallman Memorial Arena, against the Wilberforce Elementary School.

On March 1st, Archie Stouffer Elementary School will play against the OPP at the SG Nesbitt Memorial Arena 2:00pm. On March 3rd, JD Hodgson Elementary School will play against the OPP at the A.J. LaRue Arena at 1:00pm. On March 9th, all these schools will take on the OPP at the A.J. LaRue Arena at 1:00pm.
