Algonquin Park is holding a very Canadian celebration for the Canada 150 anniversary.
On June 25th, the park will feature 150 canoers paddling down Canoe Lake and raising a flag that brings together the outdoor community and Canada.
Officials with this event are hoping to get interested canoers to join in and become one of the armada set to raise this flag.
Organizer David Lee says as a canoe enthusiast, he wanted to give something back to the outdoor community while celebrating Canada’s 150th.
Registration is open now to get involved in this event.
