Haliburton County is expected to be caught in the middle of a large freezing rain storm today. This afternoon, the snow and ice pellets are expected to switch over completely to freezing rain across the district.
Meteorologist Mark Shuster says there will be a few hours of freezing rainfall.
This is part of a larger storm that is stretching across most of Central and Eastern Ontario according to Shuster. He expects with the rise in temperature later tonight that we’ll be seeing regular rainfall before switching back to snow tomorrow.
