Property taxes are going up in Minden. Council is looking at a 5.6 per cent increase this year, which equals out to be $3.37 per $1,000 of assessment. One of the reasons for the hike is because of a million dollar investment into capital projects. CAO Lorrie Blanchard says that includes landfill repairs, and roadwork. Council will be going over these numbers again at the end of the month.
