A group of Minden residents are concerned about the possible expansion of the Passive House. Yesterday, the owner of the energy efficient home company Tim Robinson asked council to change the bylaw so a training centre can be put on the property. However, people living nearby are worried about the resale value of their homes, noise, and busy traffic. Robinson says it’s a good thing for the community because it will bring people to the area, and create jobs. Council is still looking at the proposed zoning by-law.
