This Family Day Long Weekend, the North Hastings Fire Service wants you to dig out your 911 address. Fire Chief Pat Hoover says there’s been a lot of snow this winter, and a lot of blue 911 addresses are being buried because of it. Hoover explains why it’s important your 911 address is visible.
Hoover says if you can’t see your 911 address from your vehicle, neither can emergency services. Those who live in town should also make sure their house number is visible.
