Students with Haliburton Highlands are looking for final donations for the annual Pasta Challenge

Haliburton Highlands Secondary School is in the final stretch of a friendly challenge that will benefit local food banks.
The 15th Annual G7 Past Challenge is ending next Monday, and the school is competing against six others in the Trillium Lakelands District School board to collect the most pasta donations.
Principal Dan Marsden says while they were the reigning champions last year, he’s optimistic but unsure if they will be able to keep that title this year.
He says the effort has been slow but steady and students have been working hard on lunches and working with the community to collect more pasta donations.
Last year the students were able to raise over 3,600 donations of pasta.
