Homeowners in Minden Hills are looking at a five per cent tax increase this year. That equals out to be $3.37 for every $1,000 in assessments, 16 cents more than last year.
Part of that increase is going into paying for the increase in OPP costs, which are going up by a little more than $100,000 this year. Part of the money will also go into building a new fire hall on Highway 35.
