News Community program helping low income earners file taxes SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, contributor, Thursday, Mar. 9th, 2017 The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program is helping those with lower incomes file their taxes this year. The volunteer program is a partnership between the Canada Revenue Agency along with community groups and organizations every year around tax time. If you make a maximum of $30,000 a year as an individual or $40,000 as a couple you’re eligible for the free tax clinics. The clinic is being held in Haliburton.
