Stay off your cell phones because police are looking for distracted drivers this March Break. Until March 19th, Haliburton Highlands OPP will be targeting distracted drivers on roads and highways in the county.
This campaign follows a report that 65 road-deaths in Ontario last year were related to distracted driving. This higher than the other big four road-related death categories including impaired driving, speeding and not wearing a seatbelt.
