Minden Hills is using some local creativity to celebrate Canada’s 150th. Until March 31st, the township is inviting residents of all ages to submit creative banner designs that have a very Canadian feel.
As part of the Festival of Banners, the township will select the best designs and hang them from light standards and hydro poles in the village. Anyone selected for their design will be invited to hand paint the banner with the help of experience painters between May and April. Only original work will be considered for this project.
