Haliburton is being pushed to donate blood after a donor clinic in Bancroft underperformed. Last week’s clinic had a goal of 72 units, but only 61 units were collected.
Canadian Blood Services Territory Manager Andra Stancu says those extra 11 units could have helped treat a leukemia patient for about a week. The next donor clinic in Haliburton is next Monday.
