News Burnt River could see some flooding this spring SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, contributor, Tuesday, Mar. 21st, 2017 Be prepared because there is a chance the Burnt River area could see some flooding this spring. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry has released a flood outlook for the region which includes the Drag and Irondale Rivers. Officials say an ice jam just north of Cameron Lake is causing some concern. They believe it could cause a significant rise in water levels around the Burnt River Watershed. If you live in this watershed area and have had flooding in the past officials want you to be prepared for these higher water levels.
