A Bancroft man charged with historical sexual assault dating back to 2002 now has more charges against him. Bancroft OPP says J. Steven O’Connor faces nine charges, including sexual assault involving a person under 16 years old and choking. O’Connor is now facing additional charges for possession of marijuana and hydromorphone.
He has been approved for legal aid, and will return to Bancroft Court next Tuesday. Details about the case are under a publication ban.
