MNRF continuing its water safety warning for Haliburton

Higher than normal water levels are a concern for the Parry Sound District of the MNRF.
In Haliburton, the concern is another round of rainfall that is expected to bring 10 to 15 mm of rainfall to the district.
Officials say this is a dangerous time for anyone that is thinking about going out on the water in a boat or getting near the shorelines.
However, with the overnight temperatures still very cold, officials believe this should control the water levels and keep areas in Muskoka from becoming flooded.
The next update on the watershed conditions in Haliburton is expected to come out on Monday.
