Open-air burning is allowed two hours before sunset through to two hours after sunrise, but not at all during the day. Fires have to be at least three metres from combustible material, and can’t be higher than two metres.Burning permits cost $60, and the fire has to be attended at all times with enough water or an extinguisher to put it out if needed.
