A local organization is looking to show off some of its latest work to help Haliburton residents find affordable homes. People for Places has partnered with Haliburton Highlands Health Services to purchase and renovate a home in Minden.
On April 12th, the organization is holding an open house so the public can see some of the work they’ve done on the property. The not-for-profit organization buys up old run-down properties and renovates them to offer affordable rentals for residents.
