Haliburton County may be having its own Close Encounters of the Third Kind. A recent report from Ufology Research in Winnipeg shows there were a few reports of UFO sightings around the area in 2016.
This includes a sighting in Kawartha Lakes, two in Bobcaygeon and one in Lindsay. The reports are categorized for strangeness and reliability. The Kawartha Lakes sighting was bright flash followed by a pulsating glow, which was rated highest with five for both categories.
The Canadian UFO Survey is released annually by the research organization.
