A flood warning for the Burnt and Black Rivers is being downgraded. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry now has a flood watch in place for the Burnt River Watershed, which includes the Irondale River, the York River Watershed, and the Black River Watershed.
That watch is put in place when there is the potential for flooding. A flood outlook is in effect for the rest of the district, which gives early notice for the possibility of flooding.
