If you see an impaired driver on the roads, call police

Local OPP units want you to report impaired drivers.

Constable Philippe Regamey says new signs will be going up as part of Operation Lookout, which is a year-round campaign asking you to call 911 if you suspect a driver is impaired.

Regamey says impaired driving is a criminal offence across Canada, no matter what kind of vehicle you’re operating, and explains the penalties you face for the crime.

If you think someone is driving impaired, you can contact police by calling 911 or *OPP from a cell-phone.
