If you see fire and smoke in the area, don’t be alarmed. The Algonquin Highlands Fire Department is doing some firefighter training on Peterson Road. The training is on Monday and Tuesday nights until May 9th.
.All safety precautions are being put in place to make sure no one gets hurt. However, drivers in the area are asked to be careful during the training. Any questions or concerns can be directed to the Fire Chief, at 705-766-0010.
