Keep an eye on the water levels in the area as the rain will be back later this week. Environment Canada has Haliburton under a special weather statement, as wet weather is making a comeback Thursday night into Friday.
The weather service says because the ground is already saturated there is a chance of flooding. Some areas may get up to 50-millimetres of rain falling before it tapers off over the weekend.
Haliburton can expect to see clear skies this afternoon and during the day tomorrow before the rain starts.
