Haliburton can expect to see wet weather for the next few days. Environment Canada has the county under a rainfall warning, and Meteorologist Peter Kimbell says the area is expecting to see rain for most of the weekend.
Kimbell says the average rainfall amount for all of May is about 80 millimetres, and we’ve already had almost 50 this week. Environment Canada is reminding you that flooding is possible in low-lying areas, and is asking you stay away from washouts near rivers, creeks, and culverts.
