News Trees and debris blocking Kinmount Dam have now been removed SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, contributor, Thursday, May. 11th, 2017 The Kinmount Dam is once again flowing freely. There were trees and other debris blocking the dam this week, and it took the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry a full day to clear it all out. Now that it’s all clear, the Kinmount area shouldn’t see any flooding. The Gull River system is still flowing at very high levels, and should peak today. There is a flood warning in effect for the Balsam, Cameron, Sturgeon, and Pigeon Lakes.
