Environment Canada says the Haliburton area got more snow than usual this winter.
Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says the area was blasted with 293 centimetres of snow this winter, 13 centimetres more than average.
Coulson points out the months that really stands out was December.
Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board Communications Officer Kerry Donnell says there were about 10 bus cancellations in North Hastings this winter, which is normal.
