The Township of Minden Hills in now moving onto disaster recovery mode with the help of the Red Cross.
Red Cross Advisor, Terra Mitchell says they launched an appeal for a recovery plan to assist flood victims.
Mitchell says affected households can apply for $600.
Mitchell adds that the people of Minden Hills have expressed much gratitude to the Red Cross for their help.
Mitchell says the collaboration between different organisations has been great.
In a recent press briefing , Minden Hills Reeve, Brent Devolin said it is too soon to fully access the damaged caused by the flood.
