The Ontario Power Boat Racing Association is hoping to bring a race to Head Lake in Haliburton Village.
The OPBRA made their case in the Dysart Et Al council chambers.
Association President Jason Famme (FAWM) says they really want to be here.
Dysart Et Al Reeve Murray Fearrey says he liked the proposal, but would have a hard time justifying a second power boat race to Head Lake residents.

Fearrey added that it was a great proposal, but the timing is not right.
The Toronto Outboard Racing Club will host a boat race in late August on Head Lake.
