This is because of a fungal disease that is killing the bats.
Wildlife Biologist Paul Heaven the irritation from white nose syndrome is the culprit.
Heaven also says bats eat a lot of problem causing insects.
The Little Brown Myotis, Eastern Small Footed Myotis, and Northern Myotis bats are endangered.
The Land Trust will be having a presentation at the Minden Hills Cultural Centre on Tuesday, June 7 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
