The Minden Fairgrounds could be getting an upgrade.
Reeve Brent Devolin and council feel electrical upgrades would help events at the fairgrounds for years to come.
He says the fairgrounds is entering its busiest time.
Devolin says they are also looking into settling up a special pavilion to serve alcohol at some events.

The Minden Fairgrounds is home to major events, such as next weekend’s Haliburton County Fair.
Devolin adds that the fairgrounds are a treasure for the township.
Devolin says there is no timetable for the proposed upgrades.
