World renowned sculptor adding her work to the Haliburton Sculpture Forest

A sculptor living in Turkey will be adding her art to the Haliburton Sculpture Forest.

Carole Turner is currently crafting a piece that resembles three moons.

She says the moons represent the 150th birthdays of Dysart, Ontario, and Canada.

Turner’s work can be found all over the world in countries such as China, Romania, and Egypt.

She mentioned this will be her first creation in Canada.

Once Turner’s moons are added to the sculpture forest next month, it will bring the sculpture total to 35.

The Haliburton Sculpture Forest welcomed its first three pieces in 2001.

Turner is originally from Portland, Oregon.
