Artist from B.C. adding another piece to the Haliburton Sculpture Forest

An artist from Nelson, British Columbia is working on a piece for the Haliburton Sculpture Forest.

John McKinnon has been in the Village of Haliburton the last few weeks and he is putting his finishing touches on his sculpture.

Much of McKinnon’s recent work has been based on the wind, and he says his current piece looks like a tornado.

This will be McKinnon’s third piece he is adding to the forest.

If you take a walk through the forest and see a piece called A Conspiracy of Ravens and the Atmo-Sphere, McKinnon crafted those pieces as well.

The forest is next to Fleming College’s Haliburton School of Art and Design.
