The Lighthouse Pentecostal Church will have to find a new location.
The church was hoping to move to the old gym on Harmony Road, but Dysart’s public planning committee will recommend to council they deny the request.
Homeowners on Harmony told the committee they were against the idea of upwards of 50 cars driving past their homes on a Sunday.
Committee Chairperson said no one from the church was at the meeting to speak on their behalf.
