If you are travelling on highways 118 or 35, there are a couple of construction areas.
There are a couple of areas on highway 118 between Haliburton Village and Torrey Hill where traffic is reduced to one lane.
There is also construction on highway 35 just south of Minden Hills that also has traffic down to one lane.
The Haliburton Highlands O.P.P. reminds drivers fines are doubled if you are caught speeding through construction zones with workers on site.
Fines can be close to $500 according to the O.P.P.
