The O.P.P. is making drivers aware of transport trucks and the effects they have on our roads.
According to a media release, there have been close to 350 collisions involving transport trucks between July of 2014 and today.
16 of those crashes happened on Haliburton County’s roads during the same time period according to the Haliburton Highlands detachment.
The O.P.P. says damaged axles, faulty brakes and unsecured loads are some of the factors in lead to accidents involving trucks.
