Two people in their 20’s from London in custody after allegedly failing to pull over for police

Two people from London, Ontario are in custody after they attempted to get away from police.

In the early hours of Sunday, Haliburton Highlands O.P.P. noticed a motor vehicle towing a motor home trailer.

The suspects were heading east on county road 503 near Minden.

The O.P.P. then learned the trailer had been reported stolen.

When they failed to stop for police, a controlled tire deflation device was used to bring the vehicle to a safe stop.

The suspects, a male and female both in their 20’s, were arrested without incident.

Both were charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
