The municipality of Dysart et al wants to make sure dog owner’s pick up Fido’s droppings.
A waste station was installed at Rotary Park with bags and a waste bin.
Dysart Bylaw Officer Kristen Boylan told the myhaliburton.com newsroom some people may forget bags, so there is no excuse now.
Boylan mentioned most people are compliant when it comes to picking up after their dogs.
She said no one wants to step in a mess on municipal property, or have it go into the rivers and lakes.
